Accessibility
Our WCAG 2.1 AA conformance target, the measures we take, the known limitations, and how to report an issue.
Last updated June 10, 2026
1. Our commitment
Cytra is committed to making the cytra.io website and the AI-governance platform usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology. We treat accessibility as part of building a tool that teams who face an auditor can rely on.
2. Conformance target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our conformance target. This is the target we design and test against; it is a goal we work toward continuously, not a claim of full conformance or third-party certification.
3. Measures we take
We build accessibility in as we develop the site, including:
- Semantic HTML with landmark regions and a logical heading structure.
- A skip-to-content link and visible keyboard focus on interactive elements.
- Colour and contrast resolved from a shared design-token system, with a dark mode.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and ARIA labelling where native semantics are not enough.
- Automated accessibility checks (axe) on key marketing pages in our test suite, so regressions on those pages are caught before release.
4. Known limitations
We are honest about where we are not yet fully there. Known areas we are still improving:
- Automated checks cover key marketing pages today; coverage of the authenticated application surfaces is still being expanded.
- We have not yet completed a formal third-party WCAG 2.1 AA audit; our testing today is internal (automated plus manual review).
- Some data-dense or interactive components may not yet be fully optimized for every assistive technology.
5. Feedback & reporting an issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on cytra.io or in the platform, please tell us — your reports directly help us prioritize fixes. Describe the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you were using if relevant. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days.
